Cat completed her physiotherapy studies in 2003 from the University of Queensland. The first few years of her career were spent as a rotational physiotherapist with Queensland Health providing a wide range of experiences including orthopaedics, ICU/critical care, cancer care, burns and spinal injuries. Looking for a change Cat transitioned into private practice with a particular interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Cat is currently undertaking a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy part-time through La Trobe University.
Cat enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of patients at NQ Physio Solutions. She has worked with sports injuries at all levels from national sporting teams (WNBL/NBL) to weekend warriors and aspiring junior athletes. Cat equally enjoys treating general musculoskeletal conditions and appreciates assisting people to reduce their symptoms and to return to the activities that they love doing.
As a result of her experiences while working at Queensland Health, Cat also has an interest in cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema management. She enjoys using her musculoskeletal knowledge to assist people to restore function and return to exercise following cancer treatment. Cat is a level 2 registered lymphoedema Therapist and is a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association.Back to Team
