How can Physiotherapy help?
Physiotherapists are highly qualified and trained in the assessment and treatment of injuries. As they have comprehensive knowledge of biomechanics, tissue injuries and healing, they will monitor your rehabilitation to assist with preventing further injury.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
You don't need a referral to see a physiotherapist if you are claiming through HICAPS on your private health cover or paying privately. A referral is required if you are making a WorkCover or Accident Insurance claim, for Veterans and Care Plan recipients.
Do you have HICAPS facilities?
Yes. We can process private health cover claims through HICAPS, leaving just the gap as your out of pocket expense.
Do you accept GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) referrals?
Yes we accept GPCCMP referrals.
Mixed billing applies to all appointments. Appointments are billed at our private rates. You will receive a medicare rebate (Currently $61.80) and pay an out-of-pocket fee.
Do you accept work-related injury patients?
Clients who suffer an injury at work require a GP referral and must supply a current medical certificate covering the date of treatment. WorkCover Queensland claim number.
